We founded 2nd Watch in the midst of two very powerful drivers that we faced firsthand – a market shift in how technology would be consumed and clients needing more agility with less costs. In the recession of 2007/2008, I was running a $250MM P&L for a marketing company and was asked to reduce our marketing spend while increasing our cash contribution for that product line. When we discovered and tested some of “what was possible” with the cloud, the idea for 2nd Watch had given birth.
With over 20 years of professional business experience spanning sales, marketing and operations, I was well-prepared and ready to launch a start-up. We have been blessed with some of the most amazing clients, investors and teammates since 2010. Now as a growth company, we continue to expand our client base and our teams with exceptional brands and people.
Today, I am responsible for the 2nd Watch brand in my role as EVP of Marketing & Business Development. I love to articulate client successes and share our thought leadership with prospective clients and current clients. My passion for this industry and business stems from many years of competitive athletics from which I learned that the team is vital to the success and winning. For clients to win in the cloud, we all team up, overcome challenges and celebrate wins in a fast paced environment.
When I am not working, I am spending time with my family in the great outdoors, fly fishing, alpine skiing, running, biking and swimming. I am also tinkering with endurance sports and have completed a marathon, a few 70.3s and Ironman CDA in 2017. https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffaden13/
