My motivation and inspiration is to drive innovation for organizations to maximize value, resources and scaling business outcomes.
For the last 25+ years, I have served as in-house counsel advising executives and senior management on risk management, privacy matters, intellectual property, secured transactions, corporate finance, corporate governance, securities regulations, employment and bankruptcy matters.
Since 2013, I have served as General Counsel for 2nd Watch, primarily focused on negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements with customers, partners, vendors and suppliers, software licensing, corporate financings, general corporate governance, regulatory compliance and audits with respect to 2nd Watch’s commercial operations.
I received my Juris Doctorate in May 1992 from Gonzaga University School of Law, and was admitted to practice law in the State of Washington in October of 1992 and in the State of Idaho in November of 2002. Prior to obtaining my law degree, I was employed as a design and construction engineer for Ebasco Services, Inc. (k/n/a Raytheon), as well as some other nationally recognized general contractors. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and attended the University of Washington and St. Martins University, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s in engineering management.
My broad business experience allows me to facilitate solutions for strategic business issues, be a logical sounding board for business and finance executives, and deal with complex issues which I believe are instrumental to the success of any organization.
When not working at 2nd Watch, I enjoy spending my time with family, fly fishing, golfing, skiing, hiking and traveling.
